About Velohana

Velohana is a small, artisan cycling & triathlon shop passionately focusing on helping the enthusiast of any age or ability. Combining Olympic caliber training with bike fitting and custom builds all in one local shop, founder Will Mather is entrusted with every phase of your next bicycle purchase. Services provided include bike fitting, service & repair, custom bike builds, bicycle tours, weekly group social rides, training & fitness, racing and Velohana offers a full line of custom apparel. We also offer our bespoke "1 of 1" program: custom designed & built bicycle storage, service & indoor training amenities. If your life is built around the bicycle, then you've found your source for community, fun and expertise in all things cycling.

Founded by former pro and international coach Will Mather in 2017, Velohana was originally founded as a comprehensive, cycling & triathlon specific training program for clients of all ages & abilities. We've enjoyed our clients' success as they have hit various goals, whether helping to stave off symptoms of Parkinsons Disease or qualify for Kona. We've since grown to have our own bike shop. Combining Olympic level training with cycling industry partners Argon 18 Bicycles, Notio Konect Aerodynamics, Campagnolo, Vision, FSA, Shimano, Finis Swim and more.

Prior to returning to Honolulu, Mather had stints all over the globe over his 30 year career with bikes.  Hired as National Head Coach whilst serving at the HOL orphanage in southern Bangladesh, he led the national team to a bronze medal in the South Asian Games.

He since has had the privilege to work with some of the greatest minds in sport at the England Institute of Sport, Sport Australia and USA Cycling. He has worked on 3 continents, working with amateurs, student-athletes, juniors & professionals. 

When not at the shop, you can find Will & his wife, Rachal, playing with their 3 young children Kaimi, Makena and Alika at the beach or serving their community with One Love Church.
